Sexual Harassment Prevention Training

SB 1343 requires that all employers with 5 or more employees must conduct Sexual Harassment Prevention Training in 2019

For non-supervisory employees the training must be at least one hour

For supervisory employees the training must be at least 2 hours

It must be conducted by a qualified trainer

It must happen every two years and within six months of hire

If you completed training in 2018, the DFEH wants you to complete it again in 2019

Companies must also have a Harassment, Discrimination and Retaliation Prevention policy in place as well, prior to the training date
